BioMap5D (www.biomap5D.com) is a WVU spin-off company founded with the goal to commercialize intellectual property and know-how accumulated over years of active research in the field of biomedical engineering.  Multi-dimensional longitudinal cross-modality molecular imaging is the key innovative technology that will be offered to researchers in academia and industry. This technology addresses the need for molecular imaging in studies that use animal and tissue-engineered models.  Clinical applications, such as the imaging of oxygen, will be developed in the future.  BioMap5D also provides consulting and engineering services for biomedical researchers to address the need for customized/unique devices and software that are not mass-produced.
